1. What we collect

Personal information you give us (name, email or phone, level, province); usage data (features used, quiz and paper results, study activity); and your AI interactions (chat messages and uploaded work) so we can provide tutoring and grading.

2. How we use your data

To provide and improve the Service, personalise your learning and study planner, generate analytics and progress reports, and send you essential communications. We do not sell your data.

3. Data sharing

We share data only with the providers needed to run the Service — for example our payment processor (Paynow Zimbabwe), email/SMS providers and our AI provider for generating responses. They process data on our behalf under contract.

4. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted after a 7-day grace period, except where we must retain limited records for legal or accounting reasons.

5. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time from Settings or by emailing support@fundalami.ai.

6. Cookies

We use minimal cookies: essential cookies to keep you logged in, preference cookies (e.g. theme) and privacy-respecting analytics. You can manage these from the cookie banner.

7. Children & Grade 7

For Grade 7 learners we require a parent/guardian email at sign-up and notify the guardian. Guardians may request access to or deletion of a child's data.

8. Zimbabwe Data Protection Act

We process personal data in line with the Zimbabwe Data Protection Act and apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect it.
